At Earthworks UK, we specialise in supplying a variety of recycled aggregates, perfect for environmentally-conscious construction and landscaping projects. Our selection includes:
MOT Type 1
Used to make a compacted sub base suitable for all types of paving.
Other uses include sub base for gravelled / loose stone drives etc
Topsoil
A screened, general purpose, recycled soil. Great for Turfiing, landscaping, open spaces, golf courses, sporting areas.
Recycled Type 1
Aggregates is built up of 50mm to dust which contains both concrete, brick and tarmac and is ideal for road, path and patio construction.
6F5 Recycled Aggregate
6F5 recycled aggregate is a durable, eco-friendly material made from crushed demolition waste.
75mm Down to Dust: Perfect for haul roads and bulk filling, offering excellent compaction and stability.
Crushed Concrete: Ideal as bulk fill for large projects, providing a stable base for roads, pathways, and foundation
South Cerney
This South Cerney is a sandstone material supplied here in a mix of 20mm stone down to 5mm. A light cream colour stone which is semi rounded and smooth which makes it ideal for decorative use. Being a sandstone it is not as hard wearing as the flint stones although it can still be used for driveways it has more of a tendancy to break.
Chard Flint
Chard Flint Gravel is ideally suited for pathways and driveways. Can be used for both decorative and practical purposes
Clean Stone
Clean stone includes sustainable materials for various uses:
- Recycled Pipe Bedding: Screened recycled aggregates ideal for drainage pipes, offering excellent drainage and stability.
- 40mm Scalpings: Economical material for compact, stable bases in paths, hard standings, and road foundations.
Sharp Sand
0-4mm used mainly for block paving and slab laying.
Holme Sand
A coarse sharp sand suitable for bedding paving stones and block paving.
Stone Dust
A base layer or setting bed for laying stone pavers.
Recycled 20mm Down Mixed Aggregate
Suitable for general construction use, including drainage and footings. This aggregate is made from recycled materials, offering both cost savings and environmental benefits.
